McLaren MCL36

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Pullrod indeed. The top down view makes it look like they're using their cooling like this?

It is the most hideous McLaren I have ever seen. But glad they actually revealed the real car. Let’s hope it is fast.

So every fear that these car will all look the same has been put completely to shame.
There's at least as much diversity as last generation of cars. And I actually think they look really good so far, I'm very excited for this season =D> =D>

Where are the tunnel strakes? They must be in the tunnel, not visible from the front!

Re: McLaren MCL36

are they using the frontsidepods curvature and lack of undercut to guide air to seal the sides of the floor?
Definitly they follow a more 21 design path then AM that tried a completely new concept for these new rules

I disagree. I don't know how competitive it will be, but it's one of the best since the early / mid 2000s.
