Max is just brilliant. The best performance I have seen since Vettel in that RBR

Is there a record for most laps spent sub 1s behind the same car? This race must be a contender for Hamilton

Great drive by Max. Driver of the weekend for sure.

Charles probably succumbed to fatigue or red mist. Just a few inches too much of curb. Unfortunate.

Brilliant drive by Lando and George. Imagine George is putting pressure on a seven time world champion. Lewis really has to get his self together. Shades of 2011 all over again.

What can be said about Hamilton. Another poor weekend. That is 2 in 4 races. Had this been 2014-2021 he would have finished 2nd at worst, but now. Even those Brazil like overtakes are gone.

This very track saw Michael Schumacher behind Alonso for a good chunk of the race in 2005.

I think he is not doing too bad but in the midfield a single tenth can make the difference. Three crap races in a row. Not the setup he wanted but he will adapt in due time.

George is driving very well but he did luck into 5/6 places at the start in an event where track position proved to be king on a one line track. Hamilton also had delayed pit stop that compounded things.

With the cost cap is there much point causing expensive damage fighting for 15th place?

Schumacher's teammate wasn't 10 places ahead of him.

Really nice race, they might as well just scrap DRS altogether imho. Let's see them really work for those overtakes.

I don't know.

Certainly it is not looking good. If Russell also finished say 9th/10th or lower, you could just say bad car. It is not a magic car for sure but he should not be finishing 14th fighting AT, AM, Williams.

Remember this same race last year people asked what Bottas was doing fighting a Williams yet today Ham was beaten by one in conditions generally in which he is considered one of the best.

Why not retire then if you aren't going to fight?
