What was interesting about the sprint-race is that all Mercedes powered cars were sitting ducks on the straight. The only overtake successfully done was by Ricciardo on Magnusen. Other teams were wizzing by much quickly on the main straight.
This was quite noticeable to me as well. Look at how easy it was for Sainz to go past Ricciardo in the sprint and any other car aside from the RB18. However again most people on here are fixated on Mercedes porpoising issues when the real issue is the floor. The suspension might be an issue as well but I'll be honest and say this might only be when the problem is tyre warmup and not the larger issue with the floor flexing and how this is related to the porpoising and ill handling.
The W13 did porpoise with the original sidepod but was the floor flexing with it is the question. It is quite possible that even the Barcelona spec sidepod won't fix the problem and that the only way they are going to fix the flexing is to put a big heavy piece of metal across the section of floor where the flexing is occurring until they can get a sidepod that can resist this issue.
