Track temp seems higher than in FP3 and that was already a big problem for them. I can't see this going well at all.

FP2 yesterday was cooler than FP1 and FP3 and Q now. But the general thing is that the operating window is small. Slightly too cold and it's bad, slightly too hot and it's bad.

Looks like George possibly put a little more downforce on the car as he was bouncing wayyy more than Lewis, even in some corners it seems that made the car lose traction.

sliding, too hot and they're cooking tyres which probably are also too soft and make it easier to trigger porpoising too.

There's no deflection test for the front wing flaps AFAIK, it's all fair game there.

It would be interesting to see a comparison. To me it looks like this new Mercedes wing flexes way more than others. But if it passed the test, it is good. I wonder if others will try to copy this concept.

Given I have no opinion on the issue. It was the same with Ferrari in Australia and they had the team reinforce the wing and had Sainz go around a bunch of laps with laser measurement for the front wing flexing.

Yes the low DF rear wing helps but other teams have also adopted the same so it rather helped them not go backwards.

Purpoising still a problem. I’m so jealous of the RB which had virtually no purpoising even in FP2
