No one has yet commented on the revised livery. There is more black to the rear quarter of the car, and the halo.

Even the louver vents is a direct copy...
Maybe Green was leading the opposition on a false path with his (according to Amus) praise of MB flop pod design. Just goes to show journalistic analysis and opinion has 0 technical value. it's intention is to promote the popular opinion... to satisfy 80% non value seekers. a popular opinion sells.

This is an extreme level of copying. I thought the FIA brought in rules to disallow this after the 2020 debacle? I'd understand the sidepods but the floor as well?
I think the rules brought in was to stop reverse engineering. There is nothing to stop designers looking at a car and going through the full design process to get to the same design

I don't think i have the complete picture on the 2020 rulings but i think those aimed to stop the usage of fancy 3d cameras and techniques like photogrammetry to 'reverse engineer' a part, don't think they can do anything about just looking at a design and copying it 'by hand' so to speak

Same here lol.

Now i'm looking forward to how it performs. Imagine they start competing with RB. Horner would be furious.

Who needs 3D cameras when you have Inspector Seb.

This really puts to bed the claims that 3D cameras and scanners are the silver bullet. Never underestimate the power of a collective hive mind of engineers.

Madlads have done it again. Gives an interesting insight on how quickly teams can adapt and develop such a package.

Although I don't want to wish any team misfortune, it would be great if one of the cars would stop on track and get picked up so we could see underneath; although I think we all know what it probably looks like...

As someone else mentioned, they do not seem to have a new front wing/nose, and their wing is very different to RB's so this could be very interesting.

2020 was the pink Mercedes. 2022 it is now the green Red Bull.

I thought copying teams this blatantly was outlawed?

Went from a pink Mercedes to a green redbull. Classic.

Andrew Green sure knows how to copy a car.
