Coanda effect is just a fancy term that means that the air will follow a curved surface. To do that the layer of air close to the surface will stretch, accelerate, or become less dense. The layer of air above that layer will maintain it's density resulting in downforce.

Alpine copied the RB floor trailing edge and the diffuser side around the 'mouse hole', as @pillohamaca pointed out.
& the new diffuser seems to start further forward and with a different shape...

Neither the sidepods nor the intakes are copies of RB. The A522 AZE intakes are like the AT/AM/1st W13 ones, with a square inlet and a flat/slightly scalloped purple surface. No one copied RB intakes, not even AM which made a cocktail of different features...

They've done a good job of pushing that undercut way back and having lots of exposed floor in front of it like RB.

Still different from RB. Now it's a mix between the Alpine undercut philosophy and the RB/AT/new AM undercut style.

It's really a shame that the car has lost paint. In addition to the fact that aesthetically it's not terrible, it masks the details less (so much better for us) and makes them easier to copy by other teams (a pity for the team).

Impressive all the work done by Enstone on the side-boards and the floor of the A522.

It's really a new car that we have in front of us compared to the one at the beginning of the season.
