I really, really hope Mercedes are as close for the rest of the season as they were here. Because that's exactly what could bring this championship back alive, they won't be able to challenge them on the standings but the track will be different if this continues.

Charles getting some telling off from Binotto there.

This could end up driver(s) vs team

It was worth going longer for an sc/vsc for Lewis, and it would've won him the race.

Perez was just on for points until the SC reset everything for him, more like SC winner of the day to me.
+1
We need a miracle. We need only one racing lap.

So Ferrari tried to lie to Carlos and tell him there was some rule where he had to leave 10 car lengths to Leclerc.... that's an insane breakdown of trust between the team and the driver. Unreal.
What are you smoking. They told him to make some space between him and Leclerc but to be aware that gap isn't more than 10 cars...
Need to hear the radio again, but it sounded a lot more suspect than that. We need the transcript, but Carlos responded "trust me, there is no such rule".

Hm, not really, they were telling him to basically give Leclerc maximum space upon the restart, sacrificing his own race. That's quite an unprecedented teamorder. Good thing he didn't take it.

They weren't lying, he could left up to 10 car lenghts to Leclerc
What nonsense you have to keep within 10 car lengths beteween the safety car thats a rule.

Nonsense indeed, no safety car in the end would have been better for him!

With competent race strategists, Sainz would not have won this race. Great for him anyway, but it’s a bit sour when the slowest driver of the top four wins.

A three way fight looks promising, but if Verstappen and Leclerc are without damage, the picture looks quite different.

Agreed and probably why I feel dissatisfied at the end.
