Silverstone! that lovely flowing track devoid of stop go corners produced a fastest lap of 1:59.893 in FP1 by Zarco straight after a crash.
27C ambient
Bagnaia 2nd and Rins on the Suzuki 3rd.

Could be wrong but I cannot see how they pass the safety rules.
And they look more like something to win a bet with than of any earthly use

Silverstone FP2
Quartararo quickest on a 1:58.946
It is ironical how on such a fast circuit the bikes with less power are competitive, such is the benefit of a good chassis and a flowing layout

Same here. If I recall correctly first iteration of wings was banned because of sharp edges to them. So rules were updated to mandate that wings must be integrated into bodywork. How this, or Aprilia's rear wing for that matter, fit into those rules I don't understand.

But then again, I don't completely understand how Aston Martin's rear wing in Hungary was legal, and that is after Scarbs and few others have explained it.

afaik the wing rules only count for the wings at the front.

Just last night saw the explanation from technical delegate. Basically tail of the bike is considered to be a part of the seat unit and as long as it is within prescribed dimensions teams can do whatever they want.

Silverstone FP4
Superman Aleix Espargaro had a serious highside,20 minutes later back in the box via medical centre !
Have a peek at the video of it to see how violent it was

Crafar described it as like going down the motorway at 115 MPH and jumping off the roof of your car with a backflip but of course it is worse than that because of the flick effect.

Silverstone 2022
What a race, motoGP is hard to beat for racing!
Bagnaia wins with a revitalised Vinales coming second on what I guess may have been fading tyres causing Lin Jarvis much gnashing of teeth for the day he badly managed Maverick (similar to when Pit Beirer failed to manage Johann Zarco)
And Aussie stalwart Miller third.
Lots of stories in this race with the most honourable being Aleix Espargaro finishing (enough said) in 9th after being mercilessly flogged to the ground in FP4.
