new minardi.

Hey guys.. just been reading bout the new minardi. I know we normally dont bother about minardi but i would like to see the minardi more competitive. What do u think the chances are? (I am not sayin winning or podium) but do u think minardi challenge jordan or maybe sauber... I really do hope so.. at least we will be seing 1 more battle on track

well, unless they get last years ferrari and paint it in their own colours i cant see them really being a treat to anybody.....

Can't see it unfortunately. Minardi are still comparitively under developed in comparison to the other teams, even Jordan. I think Sauber are on the up, posh new wind tunnel, Ferrari engines, maybe with the addition of some better drivers (sorry JV fans) they could be a force to reckon with. I honestly can't see Paul Stoddart staying in F1 for much longer, he's fighting battles against powerful people.

yah after the practice session we can see minardi is still the 'moving chicane'!! hopefully someone like roman abromavic buy into minardi... someone should suggest to shumy to buy it!!! ehehe
maybe with his talent and his bank account he can push minardi up the grid!!

I do have sympathy for the team, it's a bit of a David and Goliath tale. I also think that on the budget the team is running on they do a good job. What i don't understand is this: Max Mosley is commited to reducing the cost of F1, yet he is feuding with the boss of the team with the least expensive program when he should be working with them. Alterior motives?

what to do? teams like ferrari, mclaren and williams is the most supported teams in the f1.. thats why they have the most influence. I know the fia has to be impartial but these teams are the so called 'royals' of f1 .. thats why mosley is leaning towards them
