As much as I'd like to beleive that, there is no way to know. You can say what you want but it doesn't make it so. Next year, the team will be fully together from the get go so you'll will not be replaying 2022. It is good to see how the car is progressing though.

It is weird that the car is so back in quali, the race pace also seems nowhere, are they still experimenting or is the car just not suited for monza...

The Aston Martin Stocks just dropped 60%. Not sure if this is the right topic to discuss these things but I wonder what happened and which impact this will have on the F1 team…

Krack has summarised the season quite well -

Especially the part where he asserts, "Topping mid-field is not good enough now".

If they remain P9 or P10 in 2023; Lawrence is going to offload the stakes & exit.

Can not see it happening. F1 is not only an investment but also a hobby and a family business.
Funders who are only dipping a toe in do not turn up week after week to do the 'dirty bits' which (give him id due) Stroll usually does.

As long as they are getting enough in returns to take the sting out of running the team it is probably worth letting it run as it is always going to be worth more than it is now, unless of course he does get 'an offer he can not refuse' and guaranteed seat for a couple of years.
He can entertain guests at a prestigious event for a far better deal than a few meals and Champaign at a named restaurant, so the actual costs are far less than they look on paper.
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Good interview with Fallows, even though there's not a ton of new things here. Apparently there will be new developments in Singapore as well.

I hope they continue these interviews; they're surprisingly open compared to the usual PR nonsense these days.

AMuS claiming one final large update for singapore:

https://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/for ... ison-2023/
And Aston Martin will add one last time on a larger scale, according to the team's environment. For the third time after the Spanish GP and the home game in England. A major upgrade is said to be in the pipeline for Singapore. After that it's over. The development budget is then exhausted. Accidents should not happen if possible, otherwise it could still be tight with the budget cap. It will be no different for some of the others in the field.
Singapore could be a very good race for AMR if Seb/Stroll don't bin it. Wonder if others on the grid will have adopted the pseudo-endplates by next week. I'm assuming a few teams will

Whatever AM screwed up in qualifying, gained in the race. Another such race result & team can firm up 6th position.

Doesn't sound too serious, like the filled some paper work incorrectly. William's got out of it with a $25k fine + the expense of have the FIA people go over and check stuff out.
