Race going ahead

There will be a peaceful tranisition of power, as stated by Bolsonaro

Some protests by Bolsonaro fans but nothing big and all political bodies including Bolsonaro allies recognise Lula as new president

Ok, good to hear ..
Mostly for Brazilians themselves ofcourse, as no one is served by chaos in a transition of power.
And aside that, Brazil is too well a track to lose!

I see. Havent heard much about it in the news really. I guess its a democracy? It looks a very close vote with a 50.9% majority.

Yea looks stormy but generally I don't look at Sat/Sunday forecasts until the Thursday or so since longer range is just badly inaccurate

Rain, no rain. Max is the favorite. There's no condition that doesn't suit him.

A hard-right-wing President is being replaced by a left-wing President following democratic elections. Supporters of the former not happy. Usual story, really.
On a podcast for The-Race Ed’s Straw said he’d gone directly from Mexico to São Paulo. He said the city seemed normal, for São Paulo… He didn’t suggest public order would be an issue for the F1 weekend.
