I think the call come from above to let Checo back through, so not the teams fault. It was spiteful of Max. Checo has helped him out plenty in the past so I guess that will stop now next season.
If this stops, Perez will be fired. Simple as that.

I’m interested in the explanation of Max for not letting Perez through. Without Perez he would have not become a world champion last season.
Max did say he has his reasons over team radio at the end of the race.
Yes, just listened to it. Interesting stuff.

What happened to RB? I'm not buying Merc found that much pace. Track specific? Locked into bad setup on Friday? Trialing setup/research on '23?
They were caught badly in the Austria sprint weekend with a poor set up. It might have happened again.
Must be setup related. Can't imagine how Mercedes would have crawled back that pace advantage, considering where they were. Although hopefully bodes well for next year?

Only reason is his massive ego, that's why it's difficult to really like him, even though he is a great driver

I advise everyone to watch Verstappens onboard last lap an the lap to the pits. And keep in mind what Perez did for Verstappen in AD ’21.

Repulsive.

Essentially it was "I told you to never ask me that again." in regards to slowing and letting Checo past.

Congrats to MERC team. That was on merit, and after hard work fighting back.

VER had really an off weekend, and not in his best days screwing his team mate a few points.

Only reason I can think of is he thinks points should be earned on merit, and checo has fell back to let him past before.

Still not right though. If i was the team boss id be having some strong words there.

Now Checo and Charles roll into Dubai level on points.

Mercedes had the car this weekend. Had the edge over Ferrari and this cements it.
Edge over Sainz. Leclerc was massive 20s behind Sainz before his post-collision stop and still finished right behind him. Without Norris, Leclerc would have had a chance to win. Just a chance, not a sure thing.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!
