If the simulator is correctly set up this year…:
With a new & revised rear suspension, the new front wing they can finally use & an engine that can be used with full power..:
IN THEORY things are looking damn good… at least in the simulator!

That doesn't mean the car can't change for the test. Remember Mercedes ran some filming day laps with the launch car last year.

Raising the floor edge is just a downforce offset.

No, it was done to make the floor less susceptible to porpoising, but yes ofc it'll shave off some downforce too

I thought you meant that the floor was raised to decrease downforce, but that was not the point
