Is it me or it looks like a mixture of RB and Ferrari sidepods?

Doesn't look much like RB IMO. Modest undercut, low inlet. It's still a slim sidepod design.

I think this new spec is still somewhat a "zero pod" design and is a lot smaller than we think. The sidepods are wider but they still start a lot further back than all the other designs. It seems like attaching the "mid wing" to the sidepods but preserving where the sidepod starts might allow them to manipulate the flow structure along the side of the car better than the rest of the grid.

Vanilla pods? Are they still Zero? as in zero time spent shaping them? Haha

As for the suspension, ia that a "long bow" front upper control arm like RedBull? Looks to be move right to the top surface of the bulkhead.

So this 'anti dive' suspension at the front. Is that just so they can run the floor lower?

So the guy here says that the new update offers a reduction in weight of around 4kg which can be used as ballast!

Sounds a lot to me since they’ve added mass with the new side pods but comes in line with Wolff saying the upgrade will make the car more predictable!

With ballast moved wherever they want they can give their drivers the feeling they are looking for…

Also, looks like an opening on the bottom of the chassis right after the nose connection.
Looking at it and other photos, it's just the cradle for the chassis stand - the gap is just between the cradle and the bottom of the tub.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

It will interesting to see if the floor stays are still there with new sidepods.

looking at this it doesn't look expensive to get new sidepods look how thin they are
what makes upgrades expensive?

Maybe with this new concept the floor doesn't need that much reinforcement anymore and therefore saves quite a bit of weight.

You're joking right??
It takes a lot of time to design, test in CFD, test in wind tunnel eventually, some parts need to be relocated, of course it's expensive.

Yes. Less dive when decelerating. This is aerodynamics. It is good for the floor. Keeps the front entrance of the floor at a more consistent ride height to the road is my guess.

Any clues as to whether they have moved the seat position back?
No, it would require a completely new chassis.
