Dave Wheater ex- Head of Aero at Williams to Alpine F1 as Principal Aerodynamicist. He previously worked with the Team in it's Renault days.
Wonder if this was one of the signings Otmar had said the team had made before he was ousted
He had specifically mentioned RBR.

I did see this, however weren’t they looking to add a dozen to 15 new aerodynamicists. Can’t all be from RBR

It would be interesting to see if any of the employees who joined RBPT returned or will return to Honda.

Rumors send him to Alpine...
Wonder what his future role would be; Head of Aero, Technical Director or CTO.

Perhaps they can change the structure a little and have a Technical Director - Aerodynamics role - akin to Peter Prodromou at McLaren - so he is in the role that best utilises him without it looking like a demotion.

This, I feel, can change the fortunes of Williams very dramatically. 🤯

I agree, good to see they are still able to attract engineers from the top teams. 6 years worth of Red Bull experience can only assist in helping propel Williams up the order
