Maximum decibel level in tunnel Monaco

Post

Who would know the answer to this question:
What is the maximum decibel level that a Formula 1 car produces in the Monaco tunnel?
We already asked the Monaco Race circuit, but haven't received an answer.
Please help!

I do not have a direct answer, but this tidbit may help.

Racing should be decided on the track, not the court room.

F1 cars are typically 130dB at spectator distances (I remember Whitmarsh confirming it a few years ago). Your link is too low, Dave.

Maybe 140dB for a car in the tunnel for the spectator since it's enclosed and you're closer to the car. I wouldn't want to stand there on lap 1 without ear plugs!

Well you'd only stand there without earplugs to drown the voices of demons in your head i suppose :)
