my personal opinion - NOT POSSIBLE

What do you think, ever this will happen? already the grid is boasting 26 cars (13 teams) from 2010 onwards. if LdM succeeds, the grid will swell with 39 cars :o

just wanted to know the opinions from you though 8)

i think its a silly idea, Except if you make them have a rookie driver in the 3rd car, then its a slightly less silly idea.

As somebody has said before, Alonso would not like having Schumi in the same car as him, i also think Schumi would feel the same about having Alonso at his side.

Where have you been lately DK? The red team and the EvilTwins are lovers again, Jean Todt will be FIA President, MrE becomes F1 commissioner for life and MrE can continue his crusade of shameless profiteering!

In other words, all is well in Neverland again, new mediocrity is brought in for next year to make the stars look good, so why ruin the party with self-inflicted budget-constraints?

A pity that BMW-board saw thru it all, but what the hell, I'm sure the FIA/FOM/CVC will find a way to make them pay for that.

Well.. i think last time a team had an All Star drivers lineup was when prost Senna were together... and.. although they cashed a lot of wins, it doesn't looks to me a team atmosphere.. or lets say a perfect team. i think, i am not wrong if i say, i "PERFECT TEAM" in F1 has always meant a Champion driver with a Crap or mediocre driver...

Right now, Horner may be honking all the way as his drivers line up is the best, i think 2 more weekends, and watch both webbo and vettel bitching about each other.

I'm not sure of the ins and outs of it, but would it really be that different than the Red Bull, STR setup? Currently if a team wanted to spend more money and gather more info from extra cars they could just buy another team?

Ok, i say...

1 car per team,
20 teams (let, whoever wants to race, Race)
10 points awarded to top ten....

if still you dont get any fun racing.. you can go and shoot yourself.

We're not doing our homework now.

"We're continuing to fight until every team has the right to start with three cars in the next season, and one I'd have handed over to Michael with pleasure," the Ferrari president said in an interview with Italy's La Stampa newspaper.

How exactly is every team running a third car unfair? From a sporting perspective, it's a ridiculously dumb idea (who really wants to see 39 cars clogging the field?); yet, if every team can do it, it's certainly not an unfair one.

After a couple of years of relative quiet, it's good to see that we're getting back to normal with the Ferrari hatred. I just love the way that smells.

Simple really, go back to Pre-Q and reduce the field to 26 cars, ridding the race of the new for next year losers in the process.

Ive always been a fan of having 11, 2 car teams and then having 4, 1 car teams. Altho they may be small, they could put alot of differing results, and do what could be called a "Renault" and pool everything toward a single driver.

And its a way for more people to run in F1. Look how Williams started in the sport, a 1 car customer car, engine and transmission team (Who sometimes shouldnt forget their roots) and i belive that other teams were the same back then.

The only ups I can see, is that maybe allowing teams that can afford it to field the 3rd car, and put the drivers that may not otherwise get a chance at F1 a crack at it. Be it as a young driver(with enough experience), or someone from other sports who may want to have a go, but not for a career change, say Rossi or Loeb. Or for someone like Michael or something to race again. But they need to bring back something like a 107% rule to ensure the driver actually is adequete for the job....With the right driver at the right race may bring up revenue figure.

I like that very much Image.

But anyways, I doubt a third car will be permitted. Just because di Montezemolo is for it doesn't mean it will or should go through. His irrational point of view and comments are getting out of hand, too bad there's no one to stop him.

Ferrari is like a sub par lover. She is pretty and all, and performs quite well for the most part, but sometimes she is just a total bitch, from right of nowhere.

You tell her you won't stand for her being with a bitch, and the outbursts stop with an "I'm sorry, I'll try to act better from now on..." but people don't really change.

Once all the drama, arguing, and making up happens, people usually just take what is for granted and fall back to the old routine.

I like the idea I say let every one bring the 3rd car but limit the field size so qualy will mean something again like back in the old indy500 days

Imagine the point swings when some one makes a simple mistake in qualy and doesn't get to race
