So Zak Brown said Oscar is probably at a deficit of 0.2s/lap due to not running the full package. Stella estimated that Oscar had about "50%" of the package. So does that mean the total package is worth roughly 4 tenths?
That is some good logical reasoning.

If it is 4 tenths - that is massive. Could make it a car that challenges for victories.
Well, it doesn't have to mean 0.4s tenths for the full package. It could be 50/50 in terms of parts fitted, but it's not given that each half contributes towards the same amount of laptime.

I am inclined to think the full package brings more gains than a partial one, but given the numbers they have put out, this upgrade is worth anywhere from 0.3s to 0.5s

Quite a substantial amount of laptime gain. Not comparable with the Austria package last year which probably gave them 0.7-1s but they were absolutely dreadful before Austria last year.

Gaining 0.5s on an already decent car bodes well for the future. It proves they know what they're doing and what they have underneath them.

.4s would be less than Austria and Singapore.

It's just that this season .4s is massive due to smaller gaps and depreciating gains.

Also, we don't know the gain yet. We may have gained more time here than that.

Zak says this is B spec.
We are faster than Max everywhere except for turn 17.

Not over yet. This is the one that matters (at least for today).

I didn't want to make that statement and jinx Lando!

But now you've said it, I'll add that I think knowing he has the car to do the job should take the pressure away a little.

Or perhaps better said, negates urge to extract more grip than the car has available.

If this pace is real they need to fit both cars with the upgrades and get a 1-2

The new updates definitely needs some understanding and more dialups. That would definitely find some time in upcoming races.

Norris SQ2 time is faster than Verstappen SQ3 time for pole.

Norris made a massive mistake in first sector.

I didn't jinx anything but I had a feeling Lando was gonna do something in the last run.

He completely botched sector 1
