Regarding the upgrades, McCullough was on F1 Nation and said they are bringing "some mechanical, some aero".

And as for the Newey thing, Van Haren said nothing about reaching any agreement in his article, not sure where people are getting that from.

Nugnes suggests Cardile may take advantage of the Aston offer to renegotiate with Ferrari but it is very likely he will remain in his position.

I was reading or watching in a video that MB seems to have found the problem with the suspensions through a technical rethinking. Allison said more or less "that they had rethought the matter from the ground up and had realized that something was poorly thought out and/or designed." And it seemed to be a question of concept. Something, apparently, is just the opposite or almost. Something works contrary to what was expected.

Those at McL, although they are investigating why exactly they have improved so much... the truth is that they have done very well.

Montmeló is a good place to see more clearly the virtues and defects of the different evolutions. For now, McL and MB are ahead and we seem to still not have found the magic formula...for now. I hope to see clear improvements in Barcelona, especially with respect to MB and McL, which are our primary "enemies" for using the same engines.
Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

We don’t know what happened but discussion's obviously reached a level that led to them giving him a tour. That doesn’t happen out of the blue if there isn’t interest from both sides. What happens next is anyone’s guess though.

In F1 you can't jump from mid field to the front just in 2 race, not even in half season. This only believe who just started to watch F1.
mclaren have done it twice in 2 years haha. it seems like with these rules, the biggest gains come in a eureka moment. when a team suddenly understands how to read their data, then the gains come hard and fast. mercedes may have just figured out the puzzle. hopefully aston will follow really soon. if they dont some heads are probably going to roll sooner than later.
That maybe the case, but it took Mclaren 4 months into the season to bring the updated car. By their own words it seemed like they knew about the direction to go from before the season even started, so the lead time mightve been longer.
yeah thats true, but im basing my comment partly on andrea stellas comments about learning how to read their data. 2 races is a huge stretch, and i was exagerating a bit, but i think if it wasnt for the time it takes to produce parts, this late in these regs, it is possible to make some pretty big leaps in performance pretty quickly. (for a team with the resources.

No changes to the floor after all despite what was said, but there is a change to the rear. Also beam wing seemed new but isn't listed.

Sky Sports just said Newey has agreed terms with Aston Martin but no contract signed yet.
Just as thought so manifest the best outcome :D

Well, the updates are obviously serious enough that they use aero rakes to correlate it with the tunnel/cfd.

Not looking any better, and the team sounds pretty clueless about why car and upgrades are not working
