Btw about the race start, it looks like this was a team issue this time around. Both cars had exactly the same bad launch.

It is possible the team did some changes to the launch trying to improve it and this had both cars execute bad launches.
In fact, the entire clean side got off to a bad start.

Lando left a maximum of one victory, the rest was lost by the strategists
Barcelona, Austria, Hungary and Silvertsone. The latter can't be solely blamed on strategy. Max and Lewis made the right calls to pit and Lando didn't.
In Austria, RB had the best car, Silverstone was one hundred percent the fault of the strategists who put the soft tires, Hungary was the fault of Lando at the start, but there could now be 63 points behind.
Can't take you seriously if you think McLaren didn't have the fastest car in Austria.

I can only sympathize with you with the perception of reality, RB brought McLaren we qualified 0.4 seconds. And it was only thanks to a mistake on the pit, Max's mistake after the pit, that Lando was able to catch up with him.

Didn't RBR take Pole, and controlled the race until they made an error at a pit stop.

I also think that this is the case. However, Lando said before the start of the race in Hungary that he felt some problems with the throttle pedal. This year he often experiences problems when starting off and accelerating 1-3 gears. After the race, Lando said that he had wheel spin.

In previous seasons, Lando has had good starts from a standing start on average. I don't think it's all about pressure, but rather about clutch and accelerator calibrations. Underheating of the rear tyres is also possible. This year, Lando has been using one or two burnouts more often, while Max has been doing 3-4 on average.

Norris needs to be on it now, win every possible race when the car can do it. Hopefully more cars will come between Norris and verstappen soon...

Will Joseph.. I'm starting to get annoyed with this clown. Stop asking stupid questions for the sake of saying something and leave him to it. The whole world knew who Lando was racing. He probably couldn't even see Russell in his mirrors.

I'm a lewis fan but we've got records to protect so go Lando for WDC =D>

Oscar seems to be Webber 2.0. Lando was miles ahead, but Oscar could barely make a single overtake of note. McLaren seems to have screwed Lando in Hungary. Those precious 7 points might just be the difference at the end of the season. Oscar doesn't seem like he can put himself between Lando and Max.
...and yet Oscar in the last 5 races(prior to this race) has the most points out of everybody 😂😂😂

It's definately a great day. One race at a time, let's see how we do at Monza.

The main time gain here was the rear wing, according to Stella. It won't be at Monza obviously, but with upgrades coming to Italy too, we may be able to fight for victory.

This place is Bipolar lol He outscores Lando over the last 7 races, then he has a crap weekend and it's the usual. It's best ignored.

Look at the traction out of the control after overtaking Max. It's unbelievable. I am 100% sure that McLaren might be sandbagging atleast with lando for the rest of the race after that overtake - https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/arti ... ySCEWSD2ja

Oscar has never been faster than Lando in a race this season, they are higher only because of Lando's mistakes. This is a problem, he needs to improve his racing pace.

With the fastest car on the grid, yes. How many times did he beat Max in that duration? Alonso used to beat Webber in the fastest car while Vettel used to lead comfortably in those years.

We have a fantastic pair of drivers… Yes, a few of the reactions regarding Oscar are unwarranted… But in the same token, cherry picking stats or periods of time to make a point is kind of silly and leaves context completely out of the equation.

Oscar is a generational talent and McLaren are lucky to have him in the team… At the same time, Norris is currently faster than Oscar, whether it is in Qualy or Race Pace and there is nothing wrong with admitting that… Will Oscar surpass Norris? I believe there’s a high probability of that happening, but is he the faster McLaren driver at the moment? No he isn’t.
