This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
And people were crying because Bono wasn't going to Ferrari with him, he's useless FFS! What an abysmal race from Hamilton, Russell will end up beating him this season and will go down as the superior driver, 2-1.
Just going to ignore Lewis's awful pace on the hards?
Leclerc backed up GR to within a few seconds of Lewis. GR then proceeded to pull a gap of 24 seconds by the end of the race. In no universe was Lewis finishing ahead of GR.
His setup was obviously biased towards one lap pace, which probably explains the rare quali "win" over his teammate.

Discount how old was Lewis's tyre was compared to George or, what he would have achieved if gap was less?
Just try to paint bad picture as usual as if what happened was Hamilton's fault totally.

I don't think Hamilton tunes a car for 1 lap ever. He's just very good in Singapore, like Silverstone. It's doubtful that the car was particularly good this weekend. I think it's more of an illusion because you have a Hamilton who is always good on 1 lap here, and you have a Russell who is also very good on 1 lap.
The race pace was simply diabolical. They had nothing for Red Bull, let alone the UFO that won the race.

George was faster than Lewis after Lewis was put on fresh hards and he was still on his mediums.
For a circuit where the undercut is powerful, he managed to overcut Hamilton quite convincingly.
Lewis had no pace for whatever reason. Be it setup or otherwise.
Its flat out incompetence tbh but Hamilton needs to hold his hands up aswell. The worrying thing is the car is straight up 4th best. I don't see this car having the race pace to compete at the front and the strategy can't maximise the potential either. Poor job from everyone involved and deserve to finish 4th in the WCC
“And that’s part of the game, is being able to be adaptive, and we’ve got this new car – I don’t know how it’s going to handle, hopefully she’s great.”
Dear lord what a complete garbage dump this thread has become. Gets worse race by race. Unbelievable.
Is it forum traffic that is prioritized no matter what or what is it?
Exactly. On the Ferrari & Rb threads they have good amateur data analysts & “experts” who contribute regularly & sort of up the contributing standards, in the Merc we’ve got some of the dumbest musings anywhere on this forum. It’s a problem

Very easy to understand….
It’s because Hamilton has a lot of haters. More haters than most of the very top drivers have supporters.
So what happens is they come on the Merc thread just to find negative things to say, masquerading as George supporters.
Since '22, Lewis stopped being the number one driver and has complained about the car and strategies. Verstappen's domination ended in the middle of the season, so today, as in many other races, Verstappen is complaining about the strategies, but nobody is talking about conspiracy theories when his strategies fail. George complained about tires in qualifying, but nobody noticed. However, when Lewis does it, all hell breaks loose.
I could see why Russell and Lewis didnt do press today, this is George after getting out of his car. i assume same as today as it has been the case for last few gps that their seats were very hot due to the car scraping the ground

Yes it's impossible that George has supporters. Can't be that weird accusations of sabotage by LH fans just screw up any chance of serious discourse.
I think the problem with the idea that those particular posters are GR fans becomes clear if you compare their posts with fans of Bottas when he was at Mercedes. Very few (if any) of those posts were along the lines of. "I'm a long time Hamilton fan but he's literally the worst driver in the sport and should be put out to pasture before he embarrasses himself any more. He's pathetic, only ever won a grand prix because the rest of the grid let him win and he's also the worst. Oh, and I guess Bottas exists or something."
As an aside, comparing the pace of both Mercedes cars on the Hards is an interesting errand. I'm just guessing, but perhaps one of them had to overtake some cars? But it's interesting that 'George fans' apparently expect their driver to be slower in clean air than the washed up pensioner is in dirty. Otherwise, it wouldn't be worthy of comment.
