Bono telling Lewis his long run is looking competitive yet he's putting in laps 1.5 secs slower than Russell. Either they are running different plans or he's lying through his teeth. Lol

Ferrari look very strong and they are on hards to others on the mediums...
The hard will be the chosen race tyre surely?

Mclaren, maybe? Their drivers have has a lot of off-track moments. They need to settle that car. I would have to think both drivers have floor damage from the gravel excursions.

Ferrari is using the new floor and are damn fast. Looks like it's giving them 1s advantage in race pace over McLaren. SF-24 is on rails, even in T15 where everyone is going off. Of course its FP but I don't see any evidence of engine-mode sandbagging from anyone. Redbull is nowhere. Mercedes, I don't want to even try inferring anything, don't know how to read that car's behavior

Merc are just slow as hell, Toto said their 1 sec off the pace and have to analyse why before quali.

Merc (slow), Mclaren (drivers couldn't stay on track), Red Bull (slow) are nowhere. Ferrari looks like a rocketship on the track where they said they didn't expect higher than P5 :wtf:

It's been an impressive Friday for expectations...

:? divebombs back on the menu. Seems drivers don't mind the verstappen style of overtake, so long as you can "keep it on track"

Perez easily the worst driver of the season yet keeps his championship winning seat for next year is madness, but then again his job is to stay out of Max's way and not be a George Russell.

When I read stuff like this I realize drivers aren't paid to be smart.

This is embarrassing for Lewis, how on earth can't he figure out how to qualify?!?
