We have the ability now, why the hell dont the FIA use it???
That would be awesome if you were going 250km/h in a long sweeping corner, and your car suddenly downshifted and was forced to 12,000.
What about errors? Cause we all know computers get borked every now and then and may send an erroneous signal.

In computer terms, this would be like playing one of the latest super-duper games and suddenly the fans were forced to stop working and the thermostats don't go off.

The problem here is the amount of lawyers and managers involved in rule-making.

Just as analogy (and going back to computing), the 802.11N standard took 7 years to develop because of lawyers, managers and big corporations. They spent one week meeting just to decide the agenda.

Same thing is happening with FIA, as far as I can see.

long enough to pass Vettel. 8)
The highest placed KERS car is on the clean side too. Then there is kimi in the 3rd row in p5; the start aint gonna be pretty.

the end of the dunlop corner looks like some passing can take place.

Toyota just ruled out that Glock will drive. Kobayashi is out as well. So only one Toyota on the grid.

Not surprising, his accident almost looked like he lost consciousness or forgot to keep turning right or something. I've put cars off-track a lot at Suzuka on GT4 and I'm pretty sure I've crashed at every corner except that one. I wonder what kind of exotic unobtainious cough meds they've got him on, because that looked like classic nodding off at the wheel.

lol, 'slamatron. Are you doing your Rodney Dangerfield to stay awake? Hope you have better luck than Glock.

And Kobayashi can't drive cause he didn't qualify, I believe.

so the order by which the penalties were applied should be
1 Alonso
2 Rubens
3 Buemi
4 Button
5 Sutil
6 Heikki

and finally taking Glock out...
Sutil ends up 2 places behind Rubens... #-o

Seb puts a second per lap on the hamster. Perhaps it is only 0,5s.
