They shoud change their f*cking car instead of changing the drivers! Yuki is doing great in the VCARB02.
He will do bad before his homecrowd in Suzuka thanks to this rediculous decision!!!

Agree, looking forward to next race in seeing what he can do there.AR3-GP wrote: ↑25 Mar 2025, 23:17I'm excited by the swap. You all are getting bogged down by fear. This is great opportunity for everyone. The truth is that testing and 2 races was enough to understand Lawson's potential in this car. Drivers who will do well in that car, do not take long to show it. Look at the other drivers in the 2nd seat. Drivers who started poorly (Perez, Gasly, Albon), never improved. Lawson would be the same.
I think Yuki will surprise people. I remember that he and Gasly did not like the same car. Now Red Bull must do absolutely everything possible before Japan to prepare him. They should have him do some kilometers in the RB19 at Silverstone before the end of the week. He already has a great knowledge of the Honda engine.
I'm with you both! Unfortunately, we missed out on Sainz last year, and Checo never recovered. I would have suggested throwing a contract at George, but his relationship with Max soured. They wouldn't risk rocking the boat as long as Max is around.Farnborough wrote: ↑25 Mar 2025, 23:47Agree, looking forward to next race in seeing what he can do there.AR3-GP wrote: ↑25 Mar 2025, 23:17I'm excited by the swap. If he's not ready to take it on, then he'll never be. A driver has to be ready to step up if he wants to proceed in career. He's been long enough in F1 to know now what approach to take.
It is make or break though, that's the risk. As it was, he was destined to get to the end of this season without knowing.
Golden opportunity, I'd like to see Yuki get stuck into it.
Looking forward to the strategy improvement?
Every car on the grid is flawed in some way. I don't remember anyone saying that Kubica, Sargeant, and Latifi shouldn't have been sacked, and that the Williams was just flawed. Sainz hasn't been close to Albon either...Why won't Williams stop throwing drivers at it...LookingGlass wrote: ↑26 Mar 2025, 00:34Throwing Yuki at the problem isn't going to fix a flawed car. He did marginally better than Lawson last year with 3 (now 4) years of experience and a full offeason.
Imagine ? Lawson has a lot of experience at Suzuka. He also beat Tsunoda in his 4th ever F1 start at Suzuka in 2023.
Didn't say other cars are perfect. The same Dutch source initially reporting the driver change is reporting Max is unhappy with the decision because it doesn't fix the issues with the car.AR3-GP wrote: ↑26 Mar 2025, 00:52Every car on the grid is flawed in some way.
