108mm bore spacing

Thanks! Oddly enough Honda also just wrote a piece about the RA002E https://global.honda/en/POWEREDbyHONDA/2002_ra002e/

On the rebuild, still chipping away in the background. Nothing too much to report currently but some parts purchases should lead to some good progress relatively soon.

Wow, the follow on link for the BAR004 reveals that Reynard were bankrupted near the end of this cars development, making your car one of the last reyanrds ever produced.
Thats a pretty cool talking point.

Actually I hadnt thought of that, that is an interesting little extra bit of history to the car. That 004 summary is interesting, factual and to the point. I guess Honda didn't mind pointing out the issues with the chassis/BAR.

Finally a worthwhile update after being away with work and mainly searching for parts.

I had to go for it and gambled on quite a pricey pair of Arrows A21 rear uprights and driveshafts. There are so many variables within this area it was a bit of a risk but getting stuck in today it looks like they will work :)

Wins
The tripod driveshafts fit my gearbox ☑

Tierod attachment seems perfectly located ☑

Brake calipers fit the rear rims with no modification ☑

Issues
Only one wheel nut (If anyone has a blue L/H tread A20 or A21 wheel nut then please let me know!)

Hub locating lugs do require modification. The Arrows features 6 (3 bullet shaped and 3 smaller cylinder shaped) lugs. My Minardi rear brake bells only have holes for 3 lugs. This meant I had to modify the Arrows hub by removing the 3 cylinder lugs. The first photo is post removal. I had hoped they would unscrew but I had to grind them off. The spacing of the remaining lugs is also slightly less then the Minardi rims and bells. My solution is to enlarge the bell holes and 3 holes in the rim.

I still need to do the brake bells but the titanium will require better drill bits or some outside assistance.
