Hamilton's onboard right now is shocking. The car just won't turn at all. The SF-25 is impressively bad in wet and damp conditions. I fear for Spa and Silverstone unless the next package changes things drastically.

A podium after multiple drivers ahead get damage doesn't feel great in my opinion because the car performance is still not there. But I'm happy for the points and good drive from Hamilton.

I'm also relieved Ferrari listened to Hamilton's request for softs, it was a much better call than what Ferrari wanted with the mediums.

They will need to think hard about what to do for qualifying. They were not competitive in this sprint format but maybe the race will actually be better.

How is he unlucky if he caused his own demise?

Well the car is a donkey, but the strategy has improved greatly. Hamilton showing his experience and the Champion's 6th sense. =D>
I knew he was going to work something out in the wet. Though his suffering on the inter was the reason.
For Sure!!

becouse race control should not have left them, they anyway delayed, and also swept the floor.. why not do it at start.. annoying.

F*cking idiots
putting on, the inter tyres was a mistake on Ferrari's part is one thing, nevertheless, Lewis somehow managed so.... it was an outlap, so I don't understand why Charles, in those conditions at that speed?
come on, Charles, you're not helping....
Lewis limped around the lap and was livid via the radio that they had been sent out on inters.

He (and many other drivers) could simply have been lucky enough to not be in the wrong place (high speed straight) at the wrong time (as the rain began to increase).

Once one is hydroplaning, one is a passenger. I suppose Leclerc could have driven slower. Whether or not driving slower would've prevented this situation, we can only speculate. (How much slower that is, I'm not sure; there are other cars on the track so one can't crawl around out there entirely at their own pace).
I'm a big Leclerc fan, but it was a Stroll-like amateur mistake on Charles' part, besides, drivers are aware and know about such a phenomenon as hydroplaning, so he should have been more careful.

Are we really going to debate about this for 2 more pages when Leclerc already said he thinks it was both his and the team's error?

Also I don't understand people going "look they did a good strategy! Their strategy team is perfect!" They make good calls sometimes and terrible calls other times, one doesn't cancel the other out.

And the softs call and pit timing was Hamilton's.

Ferrari's pit crew has been incredible this season, the one thing I can count on every week is them. Can't say the same for Verstappen's...

Embarrassing performance on inters as expected. Slower than Williams, by a huge margin as well.

Towards the end of the stint, Hamilton was the second slowest out of the top 10. Only Haddad was slower.

Performance on inters was really bad, pit call was top notch.

I really doubt Hamilton was pushing much there, considering their general performance and Leclerc's crash he probably knew they had 0% chance of catching Russell.

So even if their pace is far away from the top three I don't think it was truly as bad as it seemed either.
