Why are they waiting to switch to the slicks for so long? Do they have not the data from Stroll? I swear this team is incompetent or doing it on purpose. He was 4.4 behind Stroll and would have finished behind him

They had data from Tsunoda, Hamilton before that. Looks like they just don't care or they were waiting for someone to crash

Alo was in the points, the front runners only pitted cause of the safety car(caused by Alo and Sainz).

Aston Martin screwed Alonso! And then to compound issues with the extremely late pitstop that even helped stroll jump him Lawson takes him out after Alonso salvages a pass for the last point. Feel bad for Alonso for being the only one to do his job properly.

If Alo would have stayed out one more lap, they could have changed under the yellow from Sainz. Just unlucky.

Tbh they put themselves in that situation by pitting Alonso that late

It's not as easy a decision as you think, early on if they would have pitted, they would have gone to last. if the other cars don't pit you need to pass 10 cars to get back to where you are.

A pit stop is 20 seconds ...you need to make up that time in 10 laps or fewer.

It's not as easy a decision as you think, early on if they would have pitted, they would have gone to last. if the other cars don't pit you need to pass 10 cars to get back to where you are.

They should have pitted one lap after Stroll, it was the obvious choice at that point.

Unbelievable! I knew it as soon as I saw them pit stroll first like, why do it that way round?when you can gain more with pitting Alonso first. Made no sense whatsoever!

Hamilton was immediately 3 seconds faster on slicks, and the track was quickly getting faster. Alonso even asked to pit and was denied. It was not a hard decision.
