Did anyone else notice at the moment in time when they cars went out behind the safety car for the second time- to the right of the picture you could see the freeway which was nearly bone dry yet the race track was still wet enough to produce spray from the tyres?
Just a fan's point of view

Bearman made a lot of progress to get a point.

Does he live in the UK? Doesn't sound like a British accent.
I watched him speak in an interview during last GP and thought the same. Can't quite place his accent
He's spent much of his childhood in Italy as I understand it.
I’ve always thought Norris has more of an international English accent. His mother is Belgian iirc.

I tend to agree with Toto here - no blame on Oscar here at all I think the best drivers over the years have exploited these kinds of rules, just I can see this as one drivers will push to the very limits to the point they barely make the corner themselves and go outside anything they would do any other lap to push an opponent wide - Max in particular I can see in pushing the rules to the limit through the season and I am not sure I like it without the need to give the guy on the outside room

But they are the rules as they stand
Yes and no honestly, the rules are bad, yes.
But Kimi tried squeezing Piastri and then a lunge around the outside that was never going to work, exact same move Verstappen did at Jeddah.
I would love rules that allow more respectful side by side racing, but at times drivers are just throwing themselves into a losing situation and complaining later.

"throwing themselves into a losing situation", well whenever you are on the outside you will lose every time, this sport and this particular rule are just clown show level at this point. It's amazing how there isn't more pushback against this, absolutely amazing. Just dive bomb on the inside and push the opponent out, hey it's all legal hahahahaha.

The Lawson-Alonso incident will be interesting to see what the stewards say. Here we have Lawson as the overtaking car coming into the corner completely side by side, Alonso leaves no space on the outside and they collide soon after. If I understand correctly the driving guidelines still mandate that an overtaking car is entitled to space on the outside if they are side by side or ahead from the apex.
Yes but if a car goes off the track, it must re enter the track safely. That's where Lawson would carry more weight for the incident. That little tussle looked personal between the two.
Not sure. If my reading of the rules is right to me it becomes more a case of Alonso playing with fire and getting burned. Lawson had a right to space and wasn't given it, too bad for Fernando if he got tagged on the rear when he was doing something he shouldn't have.

I have no particular opinion of the situation. F1 has other problems. However if the shoe had been on the other foot, Toto wouldn’t be saying anything…

5s time penalty (Albon) for going a bit to fast under a SC that did not do any harm to anybody or influence the race in any way and 10s penalty for ruining some other drivers race and indager pit crew, seems fair...

Lawson, Albon, Bearman all with 5 sec penalty means Yuki is P6 in the sprint race

Delayed because the F1 Academy race had Safety cars and had finished just 10 mins before official F1 Qualy time. They needed to shift those equipment from the pitlane so that F1 teams could be able to operate

Max loses 5 points due to no fault of his own (it was a fault of the team). Albon loses, what is it, 1 point due to his own fault.

Talk about fair. 10 sec under a safety car finish is an automatic zero points. 10 sec over a race gives many opportunities to still make good.
