Small OT but for the first time we have a very rare onboard from MSC first pole position with Ferrari.

Unbelievable.

Hamilton continues to bring more money than he is being paid. Safe to say is pretty much driving the Ferrari for free at this point, only 5 months into his employment.

How this benefits the team and not just Hamilton would need to be detailed eventually, but 9 Billion sounds ridiculous.
It could go the length of his Ferrari contract or even some time after that.
Ferrari really need a good car to to further milk partnerships with Lewis. Sponsors like winning cars.
For Sure!!

Because he characterised it as a 9 billion dollar sponsorship and when I read the article it turns out it was a helmet sticker from a 9 billion dollar company  I felt cheated.

Also read like a OTT paid sponsorship article.

Don't see how it benefits the team either.

Leclerc will not be participating in media duties today as he is feeling unwell. Hopefully he'll be in the car tomorrow after a good rest.

Insert "he fell sick after seeing the SF-25" joke here...

It doesn't benefit the team as it's a Lewis sponsor, not a team sponsor. He is not 'bringing in money' to anybody but himself here.

And the $9b refers to the company valuation, not the sponsorship amount.

We know that you're gonna keep glazing Lewis, but at least try to do so in an honest fashion.

Wouldnt be surprised if Ferrari are just hiding it, Autoracer are usually spot on with their info, but also interesting that he mentions Barcelona as to when theyre going to try to unlock performance, maybe they are bringing their big upgrade package there like previously reported?

Lewis Hamilton has denied that Ferrari is working on an advanced rear suspension

I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not doing any work on the rear suspension. As mentioned, from Barcelona, we will try to unlock some performances that we have not been able to exploit.”

“We are following our plan. We hope to be able to get at least a little more than the last race. In Spain everyone will have to fit a different front wing. It will be interesting to see how it will affect the grid, we won't know until we're there.

The car still has a lot of performance that we couldn't unlock. I hope that this week we can start taking at least one step in the right direction.”

“There is one problem in particular with the car, probably the most significant, and it is what we are trying to fix. But there are also other related problems, which in the end make us waste time.”

“At the moment, I'm aware of some things that are in the pipeline, but I can't tell you if we'll be able to earn four tenths, half a second, or a second by the end of the season. We can't close the door to any idea, we have to keep our eyes open and our heads up. We must continue to push with the expectation and goal of winning.

Nobody is entirely reliable when it comes to talking about Ferrari updates, especially ones beyond the coming weekend.

If Lewis is suggesting quite strongly the 'most significant' thing that they need to work on isn't the rear suspension, I would say that's very hard to argue against or claim is less credible than what some magazine is claiming from anonymous sources. There would be no reason for Ferrari/Lewis to just outright lie about it like that.
