Give Doohan back the seat. Franco Crash-o-Pinto has shown us enough.
Jack was half decent and was close enough to Gasly.
Yes that's great thing about this track, but sadly it's a bad track for racing.Hoffman900 wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:35Nice to see a track actually punish drivers.
If they want to claim “best in the world”, then show us.
With the current cars being so close in performance, no track is good for racing.renault rs26 wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:38Yes that's great thing about this track, but sadly it's a bad track for racing.Hoffman900 wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:35Nice to see a track actually punish drivers.

How is that? We want cars to be close in performance.f1isgood wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:44With the current cars being so close in performance, no track is good for racing.renault rs26 wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:38Yes that's great thing about this track, but sadly it's a bad track for racing.Hoffman900 wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:35Nice to see a track actually punish drivers.

With the current size and concepts of the cars, I agree. But good to see sloppy driving get punishedrenault rs26 wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:38Yes that's great thing about this track, but sadly it's a bad track for racing.Hoffman900 wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:35Nice to see a track actually punish drivers.

For cars to go wheel to wheel and race for multiple corners, you typically need at least one car to have pace advantage at the very least in different parts of the tracks.FittingMechanics wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:46How is that? Imola wasn't good for racing in 2005 either when there was a big gap between cars.f1isgood wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:44With the current cars being so close in performance, no track is good for racing.renault rs26 wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:38Yes that's great thing about this track, but sadly it's a bad track for racing.Hoffman900 wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:35Nice to see a track actually punish drivers.

Indy Car and NASCAR are very efficient and quick with cleanups. They have more and bigger crashes in a weekend or two than F1 sees in a year.ringo wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 16:53My preference is forgiving tracks. I don't care about the drivers being punished. When a driver gets punished we the fans get punished by watching these delays and truncated sessions. Let them race and make mistakes, the only punishment should be time loss, not an accident or destroyed barrier. If this were a knock out competition, yeah let them crash out for poorer driving, but for a race, I don't mind all runners finishing, but being able to let loose and try different lines on the track and take risks.
Similiar accidents tomorrow will make it a night race. Lol
