Maybe? but right now the issue is very very clearly the car

Q: How much will you fight to do something tomorrow?
A: Very very hard. I can fight as much as I want, but I can't do miracles at the moment.
I haven't seen him this defeated in a long time. Well since Canada last season I guess. But even then he wasn't saying the car was hopeless like he is now.
Also I can't find an interview of Vasseur's Sky interview yet, I'm sorry.I'll keep looking for a full clip.
Thank you mate!
Tough one. Tough one. I mean, ultimately I feel super gutted, devastated that we weren't able to get through. I really feel like we've made so many positive steps through the weekend. The car was generally feeling better. We had better... The brakes were better today. The balance was really nice. And in Q2, round one, it felt, felt decent. And then when we put the new tires on, for some reason, it just, just didn't have any more grip and going faster. And you see everyone else, they managed to switch the tires on clearly. So we definitely need to look into that. And it's, it... The reason it's devastating is just to see everyone who's worked so hard in the garage.
To be in Italy for the first, first Italian race for me in Ferrari and not make it to Q3, it's definitely bittersweet. It's all big ifs [for the race.] I don't know. It's a very difficult track to overtake, so I think tomorrow will be hard to progress. We're gonna have to battle hard to be able to figure a way to, to progress forward. But just getting into the top 10 and getting further up the top 10 is gonna be tough.
Tbf, others barely improved with this POS compound which Pirelli made. That said, this is a disaster and an insane one at that.
So all these years problem is car not Lewis? Why car if Lecler drive ok with that car?
It was indeed worse than 2020 taking average positions.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 18:36Ferrari's past results at Imola qualifying
- 2020: P7 LEC, P14 VET
- 2021: P4 LEC, P11 SAI
- 2022: P2 LEC, P10 SAI
- 2024: P4 LEC, P5 SAI
- 2025: P11 LEC, P12 HAM
i wouldnt say that, but also Leclerc is definitely not driving ok with this car, he got saved from being knocked out in Q2 last quali because of a tow and both him and Lewis got knocked out in Q2 here. One of the best qualifiers on the grid cant even make it into Q3 cause the car has no single lap pace
Leclerc almost got eliminated in Q2 last WE because he did both laps with new tyres which, with the SF 25, are worse than used tyres.Luscion wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 18:39i wouldnt say that, but also Leclerc is definitely not driving ok with this car, he got saved from being knocked out in Q2 last quali because of a tow and both him and Lewis got knocked out in Q2 here. The car has no rear grip (obvious, due to the ride height) and that in turn means, they have to dial down the front wing as well, to preserve some kind of aero balance. Which means it's a midfielder car, not a top 5 places car. Having two incredible drivers means nothing, with such a car. Because no driver can drive a car beyond it's theoretical limit.Luscion wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 18:39i wouldnt say that, but also Leclerc is definitely not driving ok with this car, he got saved from being knocked out in Q2 last quali because of a tow and both him and Lewis got knocked out in Q2 here.
