Or do you mean that one time he said his goal was to finaly beat Max but that he knows it will not happen in the first years?

I did answer your question. Yuki didn’t say his goal was to finally beat Max, he said he probably would. Thats stupid boy talk. When Max for example came in to Redbull he never made such statements, knowing full well what he was capable off.

Interesting to see how reluctant people are to call out Yuki's performances so far, he's been nowhere in qualy, nowhere in terms of race pace but because he's "close" during some free practice sessions he is being given a lot of praise.
The standards/expectations for the 2nd seat have fallen so low now.

I maintain that Yuki was never the answer to the 2nd seat, he's a good midfield driver and a good stop gap until the end of the season so RB can further evaluate the performances of Hadjar and Lawson and decide when to promote Lindblad. It will take someone actually good like Hadjar or Lindblad to finally shake off the 2nd seat curse.

I agree with the issue.
I do not agree with the future. Hadjar is only a faint option in my point of view. Not bad, good performance, but nothing remarkable top level so far. Very unlikely he will do special and needs time. Promoting him next season will end again bad.
They need to correct the Sainz error.

That Mclaren is good enough to make such driver as Oscar now look like a top 2 driver on the grid.
and yeah, there barely are any doubts that Tsunoda is closer to Piastri, than to Verstappen, pace-, skill-, talent-wise.

The start. I think that Max will more likely have to defend against Russell rather than attacking Piastri, unless he has a so good launch that he can take the lead on the outside of T1.

Max doesn't have inside line from P2, not much Red bull or Max can do here. They should start with C4 tyre and go long... As that will help incase of vsc or safety car.

Edit: 45.1° track temperature and it makes even more sense to start with C4.
