Depends on your definition of mega.

It's a disaster compared to where expectations were at the end of last season but it's not as bad as ending where the drivers started the race.

Charles was mega today. He was unlucky, but these things happen. Going long stint 1, was never really on the cards.

Hamilton's strategy worked out great. P4-P6 is a good result for the team given the starting positions. Even if they qualified P4-P5, McL and Max have better pace, for now. Hopefully we the pack close in Spain, and after the Silverstone fix let us see what the SF25 is really capable of. It is a shame Hamilton's side flipped on the SC pit late, it would have been interesting to see Charles on the C6 soft for 10+ laps.

To point out that once again Ferrari strategy, for all the clowning out there, was absolutely on point for the day, on a track like Imola if you get 4-6 like that, including being unlucky, it's because the strategy was nailed.

Yes, the strategy was good today. I liked splitting strategy, even if starting hard when starting outside the top 10 might be the go to call.

Charles going M was the only option if Ferrari wanted to split. If both went hard, you create a headache where the drivers are racing each other stint 1.

If they can figure out wet-dry, dry-wet strategy we will be golden.

This is more a response to a lot of the previous comment on the car being nowhere.

If we are only 0.3 s behind McL and RB while having a botched set up/ride height surely that should be considered.

They mucked the launch car, we are shocking in quali and we are poor in slow corners but at least it can be explained (RH) and hopefully Silverstone will bring victories back into the realm of possibility.

Then again I was saying the same post Spain last year and maybe I am just in denial.

They had decent strategy. Pace was nowhere near the RB or the MCL.

You could say the pitwall was kinda mega, but the car was nowhere near that kind of praise

PIA vs LEC on the hard tire stint, including the various overtakes and VSC. This is a 0.2-0.3s slower per lap give or take at most, if you choose to not give any leeway.

Yeah, the race was pretty good - maybe not quite as good as McLaren but it was in the ballpark when in free air. The problem is you don’t get free air unless you qualify well.

Please set the expectations right :

1. knowing the fundamental ride height problem that the SF25 is probably going to have to live with for the entire season ; that which resulted in a disastrous imola Q (probably the worst Q in the ground effect era for Ferrari), the Sunday Race was a big positive.

2. compared to overall picture in 2025, one P3 out of 7 races is a big letdown after all the promise of 'vastly revamped car with all mistakes corrected' over the winter break before the season started.

Which of the two is going to be the level of expectation ?

He should have been given the penalty. He pushed Albon off and awarded Hamilton the position. Stupid move to say the least. Zero respect on track.

Not sure where you get your facts but Ferrari has ALL the records in Formula One. Most wins, most championships etc

Leclerc should've been double stacked. He was right behind Hamilton. But the pitstop itself takes all of 2 seconds to be done.

He should've waited and gone for the soft tires. Could've been in Albon place or better if this was done.

He did fight valiantly with the tires that were done. But he needs somebody to tell him the bigger picture.

Just saw the video. He's told about remaining laps (17) and having new softs. Sees Lewis pull in, decides to stay out instead of waiting behind him.

This one's on Leclerc. But he has to tell his engineer to come up with all possible scenarios, if he's not able to think all of that in the moment.

Boy has talent, needs a guide.
