Lando has been very open about mental health for years. And that's a good thing.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑22 May 2025, 13:47What's this that Im hearing about Lando Norris having psychological problems and fighting depression? Also hearing that he is gonna take a sabbatical from F1.
I read somewhere, Ferrari still believe the TD about flexi wing that will be introduced in Barcelona will change the pecking order. While Mclaren insist, nothing will dramatically change from their side.CjC wrote: ↑21 May 2025, 18:02I believe they are running it in Spain too. They must not have to change much on the front wing thenXero wrote: ↑21 May 2025, 14:27McLaren running a slightly modified livery for Monaco. Far from their previous specials, but a lot more papaya on the sidepods and engine cover.

Team are commemorating the 1968 M7A (the original papaya car) which was founder Bruce's first win for the marque (Spa) and Lando and Oscar will be wearing white overalls.Xero wrote: ↑21 May 2025, 14:27McLaren running a slightly modified livery for Monaco. I've noticed he's been a little more guarded in his media interviews in recent days, a good thing in my opinion. I liked his work at Imola with well planned and executed passes, just a pity (from our perspective) the Red Bull was performing so well.Ben1980 wrote: ↑22 May 2025, 14:18Lando has been very open about mental health for years. I would be surprised if he takes a sabbatical.
There is still a stigma attached to mental health especially in males.
The pecking order is continually changing, how many changes at Barcelona will be put dow to the TD? Speculative comment at best. Red Bull insiders are claiming that from Barcelona, McLaren "will be nowhere".saputra_25 wrote: ↑22 May 2025, 14:28I read somewhere, Ferrari still believe the TD about flexi wing that will be introduced in Barcelona will change the pecking order. Aston Martin was screwed by a TD targeting Aston Martin.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑22 May 2025, 15:11Red Bull insiders should be careful what they ask for. The new TD might as well screw Red Bull. Anyone remember back in 2023 how Aston Martin was screwed from a TD that was targeting Red Bull?
Definitely NOT always that order. And that's just the top five, who do seem to have consistently separated themselves from the rest. Then there's the second five, and some speculation on the effects of the TD have pointed to some of the other teams being affected the most. There's even more mind games going on than usual, such is Red Bull's determination to get back over McLaren. It's very personal.
Because a good race is the exception, I find it very boring.avantman wrote: ↑22 May 2025, 13:18I don't understand how could anyone call 2022 and 2023 races a procession. They were amazing by any standards, let alone by Monaco standards. Not every race in Monaco is like last year's race.mwillems wrote: ↑22 May 2025, 09:11Your favourite GP?Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑22 May 2025, 07:24A new race is coming and it's my favorite GP of all time. The team has to go and fully focus on making it an 1-2 to bounce back from the loss at Imola.
Last year Max struggled in Qualifying finishing only 5th. I cant say the same thing will happen this year but hoping for the best result from papaya.
Granted the Saturday is brilliant but the race is a procession.
