Generally when Ferrari can put in constant good times in they're good on Saturdays, when it is the sporadic odd fast lap we struggle on Saturday. Except for the second half of FP1 with Lewis, we've been towards the top with both cars. I can't imagine McLaren hiding too much pace with Piastri trying gard enough to bash a front wing.

Hopefully a good Saturday incoming.
F1tv is pessimistic, they think that both McL and RBR were hiding pace with engine modes. According to their data analysis, Ferrari are 3rd fastest : https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/arti ... P0J1SJ4c8Y

I think fuel would of had a bigger impact than engine if pace was hidden. I never think those F1 graphs are correct but then they had us down the order for Imola Q and they were right so who know. McL haven't seemed to hide pace in the previous races in FP2 but RB always make a huge jump. If we can be P4-P5, I'll be delighted.

Good thing he hit the wall in a way because he might have crashed into the car infront of him if he didn’t.

Decent session overall.

Crash damage doesn't look that bad. Just an unlucky place to lose the car, in any other track it would've been a nothingburger but the walls in Monaco are too close.

Leclerc being P1 every session is giving me too much hope. He complained about the car and traffic this session yet was still smashing times! Usually FP3 is more representative than Friday too...

The C6 is by far the worst tyre ever made by a manufacturer in F1 history

Twitter isn't working for me at the moment... are there any updates on Hamilton's car yet? I guess it should be no problem to get it ready for Qualifying?!

This kind of crash reminds me of how schumacher started having weird accidents like this in his "second career", this looks to me like age, a driver way past his prime. He got spooked and just fumbled everything.

You are going to upset The Fans, haha. But if you end up being right, other drivers who stuck around too long had similar incidents in their final year or 2.

The impact didn’t seem severe enough for them to not be able to fix it but we will see

Ferrari say that after Lewis Hamilton's crash at the end of practice they changed the nose, front wing and right front suspension, and replaced the entire rear end, including gearbox, because this is a quicker procedure than simply changing the damaged right rear suspension.

Hope the car is good enough to do Charles justice in quali, he can’t half hustle a car around this circuit! On another level honestly

Watching the onboard for Quali in Monaco is well stressful.
