Mmm this is just not quite right.

If anything they need to find a way to make quali the sort of highlight. Pay out a few WDC points for qualifying in Monaco. A Pirelli Paycheck for pole? Halve the race points payout and dish them out in quali?

7 laps to go. Antonelli still needs to pit twice

I think they'll just leave it late so he can post fastest lap of the race. There has to be some positive social media content this weekend.

LICO for Charles due to the front brakes (too hot)
With how close he is following, no surprise.

THIS IS THE WORST RACE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. I had zero expectations with this routine procession, but I didn't expect it to be this horrendous.

Nice drive by Lando.

But standard Monaco snooze fest. 2 stops didn't really achieve anything least without some kinda modifications for next year it they do.

Oscar seemed a little off the pace all weekend compared to Lando, don't know I've seen him make that many close calls to the wall before.

It was not the worse Monaco race.
At least with the 2 stop the drivers have to push.
When it was a one stop race everyone drives slowly and waits for the first driver to blink.
This was not good, but not as bad as the one stop.

This race needs to be done with F-1 drivers driving Formula 2 cars. These wide and heavy cars just cannot overtake here.
In the past the v8 cars could have overtaken and even the early narrow track hybrid cars.
For Sure!!

A glorified track that thrives on qualifying and the adrenaline rush that comes with it. And don't tell me that this track penalises the slightest mistake when you don't even have to push and can be 6 seconds slower in the race. No other track allows you this freedom.

That's why there should be two qualifying sessions and a short race.

It made the race less boring then last year, that was a worst case scenario without any actual pitstops, it was also completely farcical.

I always enjoy watching cars at Monaco but there’s pretty much no overtaking in the FIA F3 and F2 races either. Really, there’s been no overtaking without massive tyre or fuel offsets since the 1960s. The last time someone outside the first 3 qualifiers won the event was 1985.

Mansell and Senna was 1992. It was impossible then even with a huge tyre offset.

Why couldn't they remove the chicane after the tunnel and make it into a long straight, could open some overtaking opportunities. Think 0 overtakes this race?
