A great confident race for McLaren!!! Both drivers are great! Thanks to the team for a decent chassis! Bravo!!!

What about penalty points for Verstappen?
10 seconds time penalty, classified 10th
No, I mean his penalty points? If he gets two more, shouldn't he miss the race?

We need to keep an eye on Merc PU reliability as well. Unfortunately there have been couple of failures lately. Hopefully those will avoid McLaren drivers.

I think today gave them plenty to breathing room to be able to accommodate that tbh.

Almost 2 full races ahead.

I phrased it wrong, they said it can be referred back for further investigation.

Ironically, the stewards noted that they were not going to order Verstappen to give the place to Russell despite Red Bull issuing that instruction.

“From the radio communications, it was clear that the driver of Car 1 was asked by his team to ‘give the position back’ to Car 63 for what they perceived to be an earlier breach by Car 1 for leaving the track and gaining a lasting advantage (in fact, we had later determined that we would take no further action in relation to that incident).

Not really sure the strategy has been wrong today. Unsure what they should have done differently.
Fully agreed. They executed a good strategy and only issue was that they probably didn't realize Max was a potential 3 stop threat early enough. But once they did it was all under control, even through lapped cars shenanigans where Red Bull juniors cause issues for the leaders. FIA should really force Red Bull to sell off junior team.

It seems that Red Bull has fully accepted that they can't win on merit so they are gambling hard with these strategies. Verstappen was heavily exposed for long periods of time to a potential SC or red flag, and in the end he paid the price when they put him on hards.

Amazing P1-P2. Well done from the boys. Not convinced by the strategy today.
Max should receive at least 10 sec penalty for what he did to Russell. Unbelievable!
This should be a much bigger penalty than 10 seconds. He intentionally rammed another car.

Russell got a 10 second stop and go penalty for cutting the chicane and keeping a position. This is an even worse action.

Well where to start and where to end.

1)Fantastic work from Oscar Piastri driving like a champion, never letting anyone challenge him for the win.
2)Lando has to do something about his starts and giving in to Max. Still good recovery and a worthy 2nd place.
3)Leclerc did well. Hamilton I have no idea what's going on with his car. Good job from Russell. Antonelli was unlucky.
4)Alonso got his first points on a day Stroll was missing. How far he has fallen.
5)It is a disgrace of F1 racing when we have a team like Red Bull driving with 4 cars trying to fix races. Today Hadjar didn't have to deliberately let Max pass on the small straight as Max wasn't lapping him. Then Slowson almost caused a 4 car collision. Blue Flag rules are clear and you need to stand aside like he did with Max immediately later. Norris could have had a DNF there. Combine it with the fact that last year that team used to steal Fastest Laps from Mclaren and changing drivers with the mother team even though they should have been separate teams.
6)It is a disgrace for F1 when someone is using a car as a weapon to do damage on purpose. Some years before we had an actual death on an F2 race on a car collision. Mad Max should have been disqualified from the drivers championship. The safety of drivers is not a laughing matter and it will help him sit down and focus on becoming a better person.
7)With all due respect. A message to the moderators and the Max fans who seem to have a beef with my messages. They know who they are. Do you agree of what you saw from Max today? Does that driver represent the kind of driving you want for F1? Do you think it is wrong to criticize such a disgusting attitude?

That is all from me and I was very lenient.

Another PU failure for Mercedes (or at least it looked like one). What is happening?

Toto confirmed it was an engine failure I believe. But a 49 point lead in the WDC is a very good buffer. I think if Max finished 3rd it would be a concern. But not really now.
