Can’t see there being any turn 1 drama to be fair.

Let’s face it, it’s in F1’s interests for Max to keep whatever chance of a title fight there is alive so a race ban would be massively considered and IMHO, would need some serious foul play.

The race isn’t won at turn 1. Cars all seem to have similar race pace this weekend so be interesting to see how it plays out over the race.
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

No pace in that red bull, we have a lot of tyre wear again even on hards… its classic. Also quite bad rear grip, Mercedes and Mclaren are just better out of slow-speed corners. Reality.

yuki 55 laps on hards i think if he boxed on lap 40 he would have competed for p10 so not bad tire wear

Cars overtaking under safety car... will there be penalties today? Anyways good race from Max and RB, maximised their performance. Small reduction in points deficit too, would have been nice if Lando could do everyone a favour and taken out Piastri too.

2nd place was completely unexpected after the beginning of the race. Antonelli was much faster in the first two stints.

The only decent stint was the last. Maybe because the car was lighter, maybe because Max found a way to take more care of the tyre, maybe because the McLaren and Antonelli fought.

Boring race, it seems that no car had the pace to overtake. Tsunoda does not score any point. The team executed a good strategy for Max by pitting early and not wasting time on finished tyres.

Excellent final stint given the bad deg. Wasn't expecting P2 there.

Antonelli, Piastri, Ocon, Leclerc, Sainz, Gasly and Stroll have all been noted for a Safety Car Infringement. They should be handing out penalties but I'm expecting them to chicken out given the number of offenders.

I doubt that. Russell was fishing for it when he saw Max was close. It would set a bad precedent if you were allowed to bait penalties by braking erratically under SC.

Wow by Max, very happy sunday with P2. I was really certain he would fall behind Kimi and Piastri at the end. The first stint on the mediums we were quick in the first laps, then we had massive tyre-deg. The same was on the second stint. The third stint was the better one, we gained some pace back against Russel. But still not quick enough. Now fix that tyre-deg. Then we might have a long shot, we are still the outsider. We have 14 races to go. If we cant close the gap until Hungary, then its game over. But enjoyed this race really, but I always think just because of tyres we cant fight in the right way.

Or just follow the car over the finish line. Easy to see that Russell didnt brake and kept a steady pace. Not hard is it.

No need to lie to me mate, I've seen the onboard and telemetry and he slams the brakes hard in that moment.

As for just following over the finish line, at that point they didn't know if the race was going to be restarted or not so they were all working the tyres. Hence why Russell was waving his arms trying to make the SC go faster right before that erratic brake test.
