I enjoyed that. It was great to watch them race.

The car wasn't anything special out there though.

Still don't need number 1 or 2 drivers.

But..I dont mind Lando trying, even with the outcome.

If Lando can nail the qualifying it will still be tight.
Yeah, I'm fine with the result (and DNF). Better it happens like this and a double DNF while 1-2. Hopefully they will learn from this, it was very close. Lando made a mistake, but Oscar also defended super hard.
A golfer said, shy girls don't get sweets.

Lando was trying, he messed it up, but, I'd rather the fight then just settling in 5th. ( even though that's better in the long run)

Eh, so called 'no 2' driver easily caught up 4 quali places and closed the gap in 3rd stint on similar hard tyres.
The crash was definitely on Lando though, it's frustrating being faster and not having an opportunity to pass, but it's still better than todays result. Osc's defense was fine.

Honestly, seeing as Max was pretty slow towards the end of his stints, I was expecting them both to catch up and overtake Kimi and maybe be close to Max as well. Unfortunately the intrateam fight prevented it.

Lando's original move was a "stay out of the way because i'm coming" divebomb.

You seem like Norris fan, but you can't have both.
I really am not a Norris fan, pure team fan, but I thought Norris was faster today and deserved a good result.

If I had my way, I would have swapped them to try to get ANT or VER and then if it doesn't work swap back.

Nice job Oscar, brake checking your team-mate is exactly what we want from our drivers.

What a joke of a driver, Lando needs to sort himself out, why on earth is accepting blame for accidents that clearly aren’t his fault
Telemetry will show it if that was the case, I fear it was just another example of Lando making mistakes under pressure.
I think its was a risk, rather than an outright mistake.

So a recap of the race. Good job from Russell and amazing job from Antonelli. Max did his best and a worthy 2nd. Oscar proves again why he is made of championship material and the next big thing with a good 4th place on a car that was slower from Red Bull and Mercedes. Norris will be a good support driver from now on as he doesnt have it to be champion.

Think it shows that the car isn't best in traffic. Deg was nothing special, Ferrari was good in think.

It will come back to qualifying.

Mercedes were good though.

The faster guy is no.2? I'm sure that's gonna work just fine.

In a race, when Lando started 4 places behind, and was all over him, until taking a risk that doesn't scream number 2.

Settling for 5th, probably does though.

Define super hard in this case? Oscar did absolutely nothing wrong, not even close to a grey zone. He showed extremely early where he was going, and didn’t change his line in an erratic way. It was all on Lando.
I'm more thinking about defending at the last straight, he was alongside Norris and if Norris didn't brake early, they wouldn't have made the corner. From my memory, Norris had made enough of an overtake for a teammate to yield room. Just imagine what happens if Norris brakes late and they try to fit into last corner side by side.

But maybe I am misremembering, I know Norris braked early and Piastri was fine through the corner but then obviously had much worse drive out of that final corner which allowed Norris to crash into Piastri.

Super lucky it was not a double DNF.

How exactly did Oscar show his Champion qualities in a race where he couldn't pass the slower Antonelli, and was slower than his own team mate?

Define faster?

Faster to the finish line is what matters, and Piastri is leagues faster than Lando in that regard this year.

He's had a single bad weekend and had the neasure of Lando the whole time when it mattered

Guess he is talking about the way he drove against Norris, even when Norris got in front, he still managed to out brake him and stay in front, and right after Norris showed why he ain't made of champion material

Both McLaren were faster than RB and Antonelli on race pace. They just did not have the pace to overtake.

Bad qualification and Piastri losing the position at the start made the finish. Norris was also faster than Piastri.

Lando is a lucky boy that he didn't ruin Piastri's race too. As it stands it's only him paying the price for his mistake, which is fair.
