The issue is, that the drying track will just make a boring race. Everyone except McLaren will just overheat the tires. I hope for wet all race long.
If the two McLarens can make it as boring as Austria, then I am up for it!

I do not think this is not boring...same strategy and the faster car could not overtake on one of the best overtaking tracks...forget about this here, especially, again, if the track is green.

Not the weather forecast Red Bull had hoped for. Another Silverstone win for Lewis?

Yes. There is about 30% chance of Rain. But please tell the whole story. The maximum forecasted Rain is less than 1mm. Not enough to wet a track.

It’s going to be an easy Verstappen win with that low downforce wing losing him no speed through M&B I guess…

Verstappen seems to consistently be able to handle running with less rear wing far better than his teammates. Perez was always running more rear wing and Tsunoda seems the same.

Hopefully an enteratining race with a fight for the win - involving a non-McLaren car. That would be nice. But can't fault McLaren's if they just fly off either. They have built a car like RB19 and deserve to reap the reward.

I'm about 100 miles north on the track but the forecast is pretty much the same. Its been short showers then dry spells for the last few hours, it looks like this will continue, this should be a great race in mixed contitions

Looks like potential for a damp/inter track to start with and it slowly drying during the race

If it rains, no matter how good Verstappen is, he will have a hard time, because he used a low downforce setup. The Ferraris, on the other hand, may have an advantage because of the high downforce setup. In rain, it's not even out of the question that Ferrari will win. However, if it stays dry, Verstappen will be difficult to overtake because of his top speed.
