Disappointing to se the home boy being gifted a win he was never in contention for. He wasn't even in contention for second if not for Max spinning out on his own.
Glad to see Hulkenberg getting a podium though, let's hope the brilliant british stewards don't interfere to give Hamilton a podium too.

The worst is: I'm a McLaren fan ever since I started watching back in 2015 (good year to cheer for McLaren) and I used to think Norris was the real deal up until he got the fastest car on the grid and became a prick. If I was already cheering for Piastri on the driver's championship, after today I'd rather see a 5th championship for Verstappen than Norris winning it.
I think we can all see who is the prick here tbh.

Truly embarrassing from Norris acting like he won on merit.

Also sickening to see how happy the team are for Norris over Piastri with all the smiles etc.
Yeah piastri should've learned from alonso in 2007

If not wanting a driver being gifted a win he never deserved makes me a prick, then I won't argue with you.

Not landos fault oscar did what he did and that max gave it too much right foot
You mean: Not Lando's fault the stewards did what they did and that Max gave it too much right foot.
Anywhere else in the world he would get booed on the podium.
What are you talking about? Oscar broke the rules and got a penalty, max made a mistake and spinning his car.

Are you saying that we should turn a blind eye just to 'create' a race?

When McLarens win in wet race it's their car, but when Max wins with dominating wet race it's just him.

The driver is only good as his car, hope this settles it.

No arguments there. When Max wins he's the greatest in history, when he doesn't it's the car that's terrible.

A little lucky in that sense sure.

But the penalty was there for Oscar too. May not have been deliberate might trying to warm tyres/brakes but it the kinda thing that will very quickly end in years with them being rear ended. Lando drove pretty well too -food pace in the end there wasn't any need for him to attack Oscar like he might have if he was fighting for the position genuinely only gave the chance of doing something silly making a mistake and costing himself. Wasn't his fault Oscar braked hard there.

Perhaps the only argument I would have would be Russell on Max a few weeks ago though there were some different circumstances there

Hulkenberg podium before gta6.
Searching your post on google returns this:

No, Nico Hülkenberg has not achieved a podium finish in Formula 1 before the release of Grand Theft Auto VI. While he has had several close calls and strong performances throughout his career, he remains one of the most prominent drivers never to have stood on the podium. GTA VI is currently scheduled for release in 2025, and there are no further updates on the release date.

Exactly, some people and media have tinted glasses unfortunately, every driver on the grid can only push hard and be competitive as far as how good their car is, last year in Brasil, Max had good downforce setup on car and McLaren's were opposite as they used wrong rearwings
