Trulli to Renault?

Post

First this is just speculation but now that Kimi has an offer from Toyota it appears that Yarno is on the outs there for sure. Kubicka stated when he signed with Renault that they wanted to team him with an experienced driver. It's difficult to think of a better choice than Trulli ('cept maybe Rubens). I would even say that Trulli and Kubicka have similar driving styles so they might make a good match up for the team.

In addition, qualifying will never be more important than next year when all the cars start on full fuel and there will be a lot more cars fighting to get in. Trulli is a great qualifier.

The silly season is in full swing.

Trulli, Glock, Senna and ill even put in Hekki in the frame for the seat currently occupied by Grosjean. I think that Renault will have arround 6 drivers to choose from.

If Timo goes away from Toyota the prospects for Toyota to remain in F1 must be pretty bleak.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

He has a congo line behind him no more than most. But you might percievethat because he's a very good qualifier. As for driving styles they both like to drive loose race cars. Loose is fast.

If that happens, they will have one of the strongest driver pairings in Formula One. Now let's hope they manage to put in a good car and put in a fight with Alonso next year 8)
