The independent team future engine supplier deals that nearly happened (almost moves)

Post

1. Williams-Mercedes in 1995 (as it was stated by Norbert Haug in 2018 https://www.racefans.net/2018/07/23/pad ... -day-four/ (go to 12:30pm section) - and elected to stay with Renault and thus Mercedes went on to McLaren)
2. Minardi-Mugen Honda in 1996 (and later Minardi elected to stay with Ford)

Any additions?

McLaren almost started using Lamborghini engines for the 1994 season before changing to Peugeot instead.
That turned out to not be an inspired choice and they swapped to Mercedes in 1995.

It is interesting to think about how it all would have developed, had Lamborghini stayed in F1.
The only way to close a stupid question is to give a smart answer
