Finally race week again. be a long 3 weeks. Should have a low downforce package and a big upgrade, final piece/pieces from silverstone package.
Weather forecast is a lot of rain during race weekend currently
Rain is a real scenario and is a sprint week, so, even AM bring the final upgrades, we will need wait to hungary to see anything.

You heard that they're gonna go with a low DF for SPA? You could go the other way with SPA, use High DF (gain alot of time in slow section) especially if rain is forecast. Bet they have an idea which way to go from the sim but that could change at the track.

looks like they are doing C1, C3 and C4 tires. if they get a chance to use the dry tires pirelli are bringing an offset. last year i believe it was C2 hard tire.

Not sure what the point is there. Nobody used the C2 in the race last year. The C1 will been even further forgotten. Nobody is gonna touch the hards until race day. They'll do their best to make use of the C1 for Quali, cause you really don't have another choice. You only have 3 sets of Mediums, you'll you'll need 1 set of mediums for Sprint race....Don't they have to uses medium for Sprint Quali? or can they use the C1?

yeah i believe they have to use medium in Q1 and Q2, and soft for Q3. pretty much everything related to the sprint weekends are a fail to me so far. id just about rather watch them practice haha

It's kind of a half a$$ed approach. If they would have gone with c1, c2 and c3 instead. It would have forced everyone to a High DF configuration, therefore, a bigger speed difference down the DRS sections.

Sprint weekend: 2x H, 4x M and 6 x S.

SQ1: new M
SQ2: new M
SQ3: S

Looking how the team approached the sprint weekends, it’s gonna be:

FP1: M1, S1
SQ: M2, M3, S2 (maybe S1 instead)
S: M2 or M3
Q: S3, S4, S5 and S6 (maybe S1 or S2 for Q1)
R: H1, H2 and M4

Maybe using already one hard set in FP1, instead of the medium, to have two mediums and one hard for the race.

I'll be there so I hope there's some mixed weather, variable conditions but not big downpour [-o<

Tire Allocation per Driver:
Tire Number Identification
Type of Sets Color
Soft	8 sets Red
Medium	3 sets Yellow
Hard	2 sets White
The 8th Soft is only used by cars making it into Q3.
So maybe...
FP1: S1, S2
SQ: M1, M2, S3
S: M1 or M2
Q: S7, S4, S5, S6 and S8
R: H1, H2 and M3

Surprised that on Sprint weekend they allocate one less set of tires. Weird.

It makes sense though there are no restrictions for sprint race tyre.

Team can re-use sprint quali tyres for sprint race as it's short, hence need 3 tyre sets for sprint quali and race combined when compared to 4 used in FP2 and FP3 on a normal weekend.

Aston martin has sometimes tried to re-use FP1 soft tyre in sprint quali and save an additional set for actual quali.

13 sets would make the weekend much more predictable, the exact opposite what sprint weekends should be.

Because what would happen? Obviously this 13th set would be a soft (because there are enough other tyres available) and teams/drivers would use it in FP1 to fine tune everything. Currently most drivers/teams only do 1 flyer in FP1 on the soft to reuse it in SQ3 or in Q.

Just me think is so strange the fact AM is complete quiet about Cardille's Start? zero media, zero announcement, ok, they dont need do this, but, after that court battle against Ferrari. i was waiting for something
