did they add some DF to Max ? he's losing much less in S2
And not gaining in S1 and S3, so it looks like it.

what's the point of all these ,is not like they don't have the money .if you want to speed up development you need data of both cars.it always take time to find the right setup if they had both cars on same spec it will alleviate some of those problems
I do not see Yuki bringing data if he is just going slow. Furthermore I expect them on a very limited budget, they produced three, maximum four of these new floors. They are most probably working on the next floors already, so Yuki will get the next spec after summer, maybe Hungary.
he cant bit max that clear but he is slow because he is on old parts cmon even a tenth he would have made it to q3

Good job Max. In S2 mclaren is a monster. That car is just dominant as Mercedes was from 2014 to 2020, without 2017, 2018 of course.

Almost 5 tenths on Red bulls' best tracks is absurd, considering that Max is also a demigod around here. The MCL has to be the most complete car in F1 history now.

It’s a pity that there is a regulation overhaul next season
Just a fan's point of view

I wonder whether the power output of the Mercedes engine has an edge over the Honda engine. With more DF still quite the same S3 time is impressive. Or can we conclude that the aero efficiency of the McL is also the best?

"low downforce", but Max effect. Fastest through Pouhon. I always get the impression that the Mclaren drivers are still wasting that car.

How much more do you think Max could squeeze from that McL? Another tenth-ish?

I'd bet a few bucks and a Snickers that her mother wasn't digesting the deeper point being made there and simply saw some guy in orange supporting Max and clicked 'Like'.

I reckon he'd regularly get the most out of it. That's always the difference - not inherently being 'x' tenths faster than anybody else, but the ability to extract as much or more than others from a car on a very consistent basis.

And we've seen what Max does with a supremely compliant and predictable car that's good in all situations like the Mclaren - he dominates.

Except that the RB19 was not supremely compliant and predictable car since Barcelona. Just ask Checo. (his results did not lie either)

I never said Max needs a supremely compliant and predictable car to do well. :/ I think you've missed the context of this little bit of discussion.

He's gonna get the best out of basically anything he's given. The point is that when he actually is granted a car with basically no relative weaknesses(ala the current Mclaren), he's basically unstoppable. There's no question that in that Mclaren he'd be stomping all over the field Marquez-style.
