Seems like the track ramped up then got too roast up for the tyres to handle. McLaren looks a beast they have certainly found something on that car that just works so good and nobody else has found. Shame the soft tyres can’t do at least 3 full push laps for the drivers. I hope for a cooler Quali
Mclaren is the ONLY car that can run in these boiling conditions. Like brother, I hope next year we won't see these tyres to even be even "slightly" temperature sensitive. I'm telling you, these ground effect cars only prefers 1 driving style.

Could be a difficult Qualifying for Verstappen with four sets only.

Marko just said that making Q2 will be a challenge for them.

Tsunoda couldn't do it.
And it's not like he was way slower than Max this time, only .15

On another topic Bortoleto is a fast qualifier.

Max also used two sets of softs. Looked like Ferrari as well.

McLaren just falls away as soon as the track temp gets anywhere near the mid-30s apparently.

I have a strange feeling of a Leclerc win this weekend. I know he doesnt have a great track record on this track but feel like he is going to hook it up in qualifying and defend with all his might in the race.
I wish I had this much copium

Track temps dropped to 36C from 50C at the start of the Qualy, so it was not so much of a guess to where the performance went.

Well done by Charles and Ferrari =D>
