They need to sell a chunk of Renault shares to CH and stop messing around with the Alpine brand, as nobody cares about it.
I see this as a possibility. Then CH can throw his old buddy Cyril a bone and try to pull in Hyundai backing.

However, Colapinto crashed this morning at the Turn 11 right-hander, one of the faster curves at this circuit. The Argentinian was uninjured.

“During Day 2 of Pirelli Tyre Testing at the Hungaroring this morning, Franco Colapinto had an incident at Turn 11. Franco was assessed on site at the medical centre and is OK,” an Alpine spokesperson has stated.

Not a small one...
Man Colapinto looked surprisingly good last year in a Williams(still crashed a lot), but this season...

Maybe it's Aron's turn.
I think he might be the best young driver they have.

Hyundai in F1 would certainly be a coup for him!

Jack wasn’t given a fair go, so he should at least get a season or two to prove himself like most other rookies do.

Jack had enough. He was given many practices, many runs in older cars, and a last year start. He is simply average, too weak for F1. I think Helmut Marco was right about him.

This team, in order to bounce back, needs 2 good drivers that deliver and can help to improve the car.

I think Aron should be given a chance this year, to check his abilities and answer the question if they need to look for another driver for 2026.

Jack had multiple of sessions were he was faster than Pierre, one qually were he beat him on merit and was only the slowest driver in a practice session twice.

Franco has spent more time at the bottom of the timesheets than any other driver this year, and has crashed more than any other driver this year.

I'm not defending Franco at all. He needs to go now. Before Williams no one had ever heard of this guy. We can see why. Jack might be better but still not good enough IMHO.

Jack wasn’t given a chance tho, even at the first race of the year, the media were talking about him being dropped after 5 races.

Imagine if Mercedes did that to Kimi who’s also had a challenging run of form?
