The car is so good, the drivers are good, and even. They just can't really fight on track, without offset or change in strategy.

Saturday is so important. Such a tiny tiny gap likely decides this race.

Now that's going to change the title.

Robbed of an easy 1-2 to make it 5 in a row

Thats a joke, after all the worries of the Merc engine that dropped out of our minds. Totally unfair.

I feel fir Lando, that's no way to drop back in the WDC.

Sort of thing that makes any Oscar title easier for Lando. Nothing he can do there.

That’ll be the end of all the records Mclaren could have broken this season as well

I think ges very level headed, he came back from Canada really way.

But hes now hoping Oscar has a similar problem to get back in to it.

A big shame we didn't get 5th 1-2 in a row. But this was bound to happen.

I can see at least two positives.
1. It would be super unfair if Piastri while ahead in the championship lost his lead (or WDC in the end) due to a singular engine DNF. Not to mention the conspiracy theories it would start.
2. Norris will take eventual loss in WDC better with this DNF. If he ends up losing it wasn't just his mistakes, it was bad luck as well.

Great drive by both drivers. Norris probably had this in the bag if he was just a tiny bit faster in Q3. Imagine if he lost a win by this engine failure.

Piastri’s restarts on ‘cold’ tyres have both been electric. Fastest laps of the race so far on both occasions
I really hope you didn't Jinx the next start!

Can I admit. That while I like the co stant winning, and winning comfortably, i wouldn't mind other teams actually challenging.

Well done to Oscar, deserved it, a great drive. Really strong drive from Lando too.

I want to see him come back with a very level head, no overdriving and just keep it the right side of aggressive next time out.
