Pathetic strategy from the team AGAIN. #FireKrack
No, just very unlucky. The mediums were giving up quickly, so a two stopper on hards probably would have worked out nicely if not for Hamilton's mistake.
So it is. Furthermore overtaken by TSU, not even on the main straight. For sure not the race of ALO...
Will you give it up? If you were watching, you know Bearman chopped him off turn 8 and Tsunoda got the run from behind.

Some good luck for once
Alonso will be a sitting duck on the old hards. Should have pitted for used softs.

Gasly ahead is on much older hards and Antonelli has a penalty

Stroll needs to give Alonso DRS till end of the race or he will be last

P8 and 9 is possible if they can get within 10sec of Antonelli and in front of gasly

For once, a bit of luck! The early pit stop and not pitting for soft paid off in the end

Lance from P19 to P7, and alonso in P8. Decent sunday considering where the car is.

Not swapping positions back? Great

Fortunate for Stroll, not so much for Alonso. It was good that Alonso had enough pace to keep Tsunoda behind who had 13 lap fresher softs.

To close but honestly I don't think Fernando cares. Another missed opportunity cause Hadjar scored a podium in a car definitely slower than the Astons there is no doubt about that. I guess we now have to wait till Singapore.
Halo not as bad as we thought

The Racing Bull has been quicker than the Aston Martin all season. Hungary was an outlier track that played to Aston Martin's only strength. Most of the rest of the season is going to be a lot of pain.

Overall, a lackluster race from ALO. Yes, he was unlucky, the strategy made no sense in the first place and things went from bad to worse with the SC. But his (re)starts were pretty bad and was not much quicker than (and gout outscored by) a crash-prone Stroll.

Alonso got screwed with the Hamilton crash. Stroll actually drove a pretty measured race.
