With Lewis they have no choice because of the 5 place grid penalty, no point being fast in the areas where you cannot overtake and slow in the areas where you can overtake.

Historically Leclerc doesn't like getting tows in qualifying. He finds it too distracting. The other thing is the gaps to the leaders. Lets say he is pole, Lewis will be P9 + 5 places = P14. They run the race.
